Panchatantra

Panchatantra is a fable that talks about wisdom. It says that It doesn´t matter how big you are, or how powerful you are but if you are not wise and intelligent anything could happen to you. Panchatantra is about a lion that thinks that he is the best of all the animals and because of that, he treats them bad. But what he realized is that his enemy was himself not anyone else. So it means that everything that goes around, comes around.

You can be the smallest thing in the world, but if you really are wise and you know how to use all your knowledge, you can win ad achieve anything that you want in your life.

The main objective of this fable is to teach us about wisdom, and how we have to behave in front of others.

It also teaches us that it is not necessary to be big and strong, to win a battles and make good things. Instead of being strong you have to be wise and know how to make good decisions .In conclusion small and wise actions can help us to go through dangerous and difficult situations. If you make good actions in your life you can make a big change in your life and in the world.
In life it does not matter how powerful a person is, or how big it is, the only thing that matters is the intention and the way you manage the difficult situations.

The analects

This story really helps us a lot in how to understand many things that happened in life .Sometimes we don´t agree about some things that happen in our lives but that’s when we have to start thinking that things always happen for a reason. Sometimes we don’t understand why things happened in that moment, but later you will realize why things happened. The Analects teaches us to never give up and that we always have to fight for our dreams and goals. Even if sometimes we see our goals and dreams so far away from reaching them in that moment is when you have to think that when you reached your goals you will be really proud of yourself.

Confucious tells the men that live in the present that high office filled by men of narrow views, ritual performed without reference.

The part that I liked most was: “The master said, a gentleman is ashamed to let his words outrun his deeds” because you always have to be very careful with what you say and with what you do.

The "we're a band" is a song that brings us all together. We felt identificated with the song because we are a really close group we are like a band. As a group we will never forget how every day we started a class of writing and lit/spelling singing the song all together.

Freak!
Is what the world calls me
They don't understand
so they try to stop me
Hide!
I can't hide
so I stand up straight with Christ by my side
No no no no need to be tounge tied
So I say it loud and I say it with pride
Died
he died
Christ gave it all but He's coming back to life
Now I've got a reason to saying the things I say
and you know I've got a reason to be doing the things I do
Because soon very soon
God's coming back and I want to be playing His tune
So, here we go
and from the top of our longs we sang the chorus

We're a band
We're a band
With guitars in our hands
we're crossing the land
We're a band
We're a band
For the Son of man
We will take a stand
You can make a plan
He'll be back again
We're a band
We're a band
We're a band
We're a band

I`ll always remember this song because of all the times my friends and I made a party in the class and we all care of each other as a band!
